Transformations of the labour market in Poland in the years 1918-2018

Summary/Abstract: In the span of 100 years, Poles have experienced a great number of difficult situations and events which have undoubtedly affected their educational lives and, consequently, their careers as well. The labour market has undergone multiple metamorphoses in the years 1918-2018. The article presents both statistical data depicting the situation on the labour market and the key transformations taking place then: the interwar period, the centrally planned (administrative command) economy, the market economy (including the political transformation).
