Summary/Abstract: The author of this article says that the whole work of Pushkin is permeated by the figure and problem of the poet. Eugene Onegin gave the poet a Romantic status of being different and extraordinary and also raised many other typically Romantic questions but he avoided numerous extremes. Despite all the antinomies Pushkin’s world is harmonious.
