Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the article is to examine the activity of structural units of local government’ authorities that conduct an informative and analytical activity to define main functions and opportunities for development and improvement the communication with people of the region; to define the role of informative units of local governments’ authorities in processes of e-government. The methodology of the research is based on the use of general scientific methods: analysis, synthesis, generalization, logical method. The application of named methods gives the opportunity to define the role of informative and analytical activity in process of management decisions. The scientific novelty of the work consists in defining the role and opportunities informative and analytical activity of structural units of local government’ authorities, to determine the direction of informative and analytical centers; to define of informative needs of users of the information which creates the executive office of local government’ authorities. Conclusions. Analysis results of informative and analytical activity of structural units of local governments’ authorities reveal a strong demand supported by such informative service. Informative and analytical units accompany the region’s population in implementation of self-administration, to form the opinion of the local community about territorial authorities and are involved in an ongoing analysis of the informative needs of citizens for forming the correct information environment. Informative units are necessary to local government to networking with territorial communities and implementation of decentralization reform principals. Using informative and analytical centers e-government is being implemented with strong power and processes of management decisions are being automated.
