Summary/Abstract: This article represents a study on macroeconomic dynamics in 2004-2009 of three new Eurozone members. It has been found that countries are furiously trying to improve macroeconomic performance before introduction of the Euro. Then in 2007 and 2008 when Cyprus, Malta and Slovenia switched to Euro it has been suspended due to extensive measures of improving economic performance. This study is important not only for the economists who analyzed these countries but also for Lithuanian economy which seeks to introduce Euro in the coming years.
