Summary/Abstract: The age of information technology requires a new adaptation of archives as well. It enables the storage and service of documents to be performed better and faster. Therefore, ICT orientation should be an indisputable priority of any archive. This paper will address the new digitalization strategy that has started to be implemented in the CSA, the best international models in this field as well as the methodology of implementing mass digitalization, including the archival description according to the international standard ISAD (G). It will introduce the various forms of digitalization in the CSA, as well as other forms that are applied in European countries, taking into account the advantages and cost-effectiveness of their implementation.
