Summary/Abstract: The analysis of the legal regime of the employment contract with a probationary period illustrates its essential practical conveniences and explains its widespread use. At the same time, in some cases – whether due to misunderstanding of the system or in attempt to circumvent it – between the parties to the employment relationship arise disputes related to the content of the probationary clause. Most often they relate to the moment of expiry of the term or to the stipulation of a second probationary period between the same parties for the same or a similar position. The study aims to outline some of the main specifics in the regime and to propose solutions of frequently arising issues.
