ON SOME POSSIBILITIES OF INCREASE IN THE EFFICIENCY OF THE PROCESS OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT THE PHILOLOGICAL FACULTY

Summary/Abstract: The fundamental task in the preparation of future teachers of Russian is adoption of the solid foundations of the practical command of the Russian language on the basis of knowledge of its system and formation of professional habits and abilities. Starting with this assumption the author presented in this article some principles of work directed towards inculcating in the students of Russian philology of the ability to analyse language material from the point of view of methodology, of foreseeing possible difficulties in its mastering by the pupils and of organizing of work with the students when those difficulties are taken account of. The proper selection of readings for home, working out in the students of the ability to assimilate the information needed from this reading and its methodological interpreta­tion is of great significance in the pedagogical preparation of future teachers.
