Summary/Abstract: The author draws attention to the fact that in reaffixation (derivational process which involes the replacement of affixes) much more often than in most widespread type of derivation (simply by adding of an affixs) the separation of a morpheme in a concrete word of a language takes place. It follows from this that the study of reaffixation (as also disafifixatiôn characterized by the same peculiarity) can give much help for understunding of the morphemic structure of the words of the language. Observations on reaffixation show that an omitted affix can be separated in an original word solely because of its connection with other formations of the language having the similar affix. Other structural-semantic connections of the original word do not show the influence on the morphemic analyses, accompanying reaffixation. In this reaffixation is also similar to disaffixation.
