Summary/Abstract: Writers are not a rarity within the Serbian or Yugoslavian diplomacy, especially between the two world wars. Our review demonstrates the duality of various writers during their careers, whose artistic works played an important role in European diplomacy, as well as historic literature. Such works had an important influence on European culture, impacting directly the aforementioned writers-diplomats.
