SWOT ANALYSIS ON BARTIN CENTER I. ORGANIZED INDUSTRIAL ZONE

Summary/Abstract: SWOT analysis was carried out to determine the advantages and disadvantages of companies operating in Organized Industrial Zones, which are used as a tool to reduce imbalances between regions, in Bartın Central Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ). SWOT factors (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) have been handled by considering the criteria of having a sustainable production structure and the existence of competitive advantages, which are important in the selection of the factory location. In the study; In Turkey and in the world are given information about the status of the Organized Industrial Zone. The advantages and weaknesses of Bartın Center I OIZ, as well as its threats and opportunities, were revealed through SWOT analysis.
