Affects and Emotions in the Discourse of the Right-Wing-Populism

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the language and discourse of the right-wing populism and it analyzes the instrumentalization of emotions as part of the political marketing. The coding of emotional content using images and cultural symbols is primarily examined. The breadth of the emotional scale and the temporal dimension of linguistic and communicative strategies of right-wing populism should be pointed out.
