Summary/Abstract: Before 1989 Igaz Szó, in lack of a professional art magazine in Romania, such as de majority of the Hungarian cultural publications, assumes the responsibility of promoting Hungarian arts in Romania. The reflections, notes on exhibitions appear frequently, due to this we have a vivid image about the evolution of critical approach and reflection on fine arts in the above mentioned period in Romania.
