The development of primary education network in Szadek municipality

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the origin and development of primary education network in Szadek municipality in its present boundaries. The analysis covers chosen educational facilities in the town of Szadek and in the surrounding villages. The material used in the study includes selected documents, legal acts, press information and statistical data. For the purposes of the article, the history of primary education in the studied area was divided into periods. First, the pre-partition period was analysed, then the time of the Partitions, and finally the past century (1918–2018).
