Summary/Abstract: The article entitled Memories about the Future: Culture, Education, Health evokes the cultural activities of engineer Pompiliu Manea and a series of professionals from the Cluj County Public Health Department. Apart from health education endeavours, the latter cooperate with various cultural institutions (the media, history museums, literary societies etc) to promote Romanian culture in various forms: publications of literary and scientific volumes, radio and TV broadcasts, organization of medical fairs.
