Summary/Abstract: Sarajevo is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination. In 2018, 573.227 tourists visited Sarajevo Canton and had a total of 1.189.159 overnight stays. The purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of the overall tourist satisfaction on the intention of tourists to recommend and say positive things about Sarajevo to friends and colleagues, as well as the intention of tourists to return to this tourist destination in the future. For the purposes of data analysis, descriptive statistics and statistical method ANOVA were used. The results of the research have shown that there is a statistically significant difference and that the overall tourist satisfaction with Sarajevo has a positive influence on the intention of tourists to recommend Sarajevo to friends and relatives, say positive things about Sarajevo to friends and colleagues and on intention of tourists to return to this tourist destination in the future.
