THE TEST OF “DEMOCRACY ISLAND” WITH DEMOCRACY CONTINUES

Summary/Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the elections held by Kyrgyzstan since its declaration of independence and the relations between the events that took place after the elections and the problems of the country. Despite the elections held and the constitutional amendments in the country, since the presidents are determining the power, the issue will be examined under the heading of presidents., It will be emphasized that how Kyrgyzstan is struggling to sustain the democratic parliamentary regime in to which the country has managed to transition with the constitutional amendment made in 2010 unlike the countries in the region where it is located.
