Summary/Abstract: The importance of translation in the classroom practices of secondary teachersgradually lessened throughout the 20th and 21st centuries while it still holds a prominent place inhigher education curricula for specialists. This paper aims at envisaging the teaching of translationat University so that a link between secondary and higher education can be made, all the more so in acontext of reduction in face-to-face teaching hours.
