Summary/Abstract: Hybrid warfare seeks victory through the fusion of irregular tactics and the most effective means available in order to attack and achieve objectives in all areas of social life, including politics. Hybrid wars, in fact, combine action capabilities – conventional and asymmetric – cyber, kinetic, media, terrorist and military ones. They employ strategies and tactics, ranging from subversion,cyber-attacks, media manipulation, the presence of combat forces difficult to identify, conducting military exercises to disturbance against constitutional order, crime, agitation and fifth columns. Due to these advantages for the aggressor, it is likely that this form of conflict will persist successfully in the future.
