Summary/Abstract: In this paper I’m going to present my personal expe rience when I met acad. Ştefan Pascu for the first time, during a summer school conference about Romanian history, organ ized by the Society of Historical Sciences from Romania, whose president was acad. Ştefan Pascu, held in Cluj Napoca, in 1988. I consider that the several memories about acad. Ştefan Pascu represent a pious homage to his personality.
