Summary/Abstract: Mental pressure has become a common phenomenon with modern daily life and a risk factor for the individual and for society as well. The individual and the collective health status is consecrated by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, while the right to health is a fundamental human right, the expression of comprehensive commandments characterized by social, economic and environmental emergencies. In this respect, the civilized human being is first facing a moral pollution that threatens both the physical and the mental health. In addition to the possible effects upon the individuals’ health and their good mood, mental pressure has an economic and a social impact as well. It can decrease performance and productivity at work, thus affecting the business and ultimately economy as a whole. This is the reason why all those making political, social, judicial and medical decisions alongside the population should make their contribution to the achievement of the desideratum according to which all people are equal in rights and duties. The topic of fighting mental pressure is always hot, while the measures to be taken refer to the stimulation of the informational, technical, scientific and economic exchanges between those responsible for safety and healthy conditions at work. The World Health Organization recommends all States that elaborated national programs correlated with the international ones for the protection of life and health to shift the focus of medicine from the sick to the healthy.
