Summary/Abstract: The theme of the human body opens in our minds a true review of the history of art, the perfection of gold, the interpretation of Leonardo’s Vitruvian man, Le Corbusier’s modulator. Mathematics, architecture, and arts meet on the same ground, the proportions and the introduction and reporting of man to this universe. The artists have approached the subject of the human body constantly over time either by iconic rendering or by transforming the image based on concepts and principles based on a succession of studies and transformations.
