Summary/Abstract: In this article we find a brief introduction of what is tensegrity, its origins and some illustrated project examples made by the promoters. We first found principles of tensegrity in nature, from human body to cellular level. In tensegrity systems the tension is transmitted continuously through all the elements, increasing one module’s tension will increase the pressure in each component. In this way the structure becomes rigid, resilient, and stable. B. Fuller described this phenomenon as continuous tension.
