Summary/Abstract: Poem 3:25-29 „On joy of wisdom“ in the book of Ben Sira is a beautiful poetic presentation of warning against hardness of heart and fickleness or inconstancy of life – incurable attitudes, leading to its ruining. Ben Sira simultaneously speaks about importance of listening ears and heart, constantly prepared to listen, learn and discern and concentrate one’s way of life on searching wisdom, the only important topic that permeates life with joy.
