Summary/Abstract: During his lifetime, academician Marcu Botzan published several scientific papers and a number of books in the fields of history and archaeology. Moreover, he wrote literature books, such as “Cântece şi descântece pentru un sat de altădată” („Songs and Chants for the Village of Yesteryear”) – lyrics, “Baladă pentru calea Soarelui” („Ballad for the Sunny Way”) and “Neizbutita parabolă a lui Marcus Aurelius” („The Unsuccessful parable of Marcus Aurelius”). The discovery of this side of Marcu Botzan’s personality is largely owed to his life partner, poet Delia-Pia Bârlea, who encouraged all his efforts. Thus, the writer traveled in time from Antiquity to the Feudal Age, even making predictions for the future
