History and philosophyof an object - the chair - or anagram -"an ACS"

Summary/Abstract: The chair would be the first item of furniture that appears in the hearth of the bipedal human being who needs from time to time, to rest his legs after a broader effort of gaining verticality. If walking by all his members gave him an equilibri um for his body, walking on foot has forced him to sacrifice the two inferior members which had to support the whole weight of the body. The sitting position brought with it the sedentary itself, the statal organization and the statornicy. The man has become “home settled” and “wise”. If the “liberation technologist” brings inventiveness and creation, the appearance of human social uni verse, movable and immovable, setting free the artist standing in forms and images of human transcendent ego, communicates with other worlds hidden to our ordinary senses, the man is a spectator in space, in the center of a vast and complex universe, in a place of nature spirits and Gods.
