Summary/Abstract: Terrorism has been a major source of disruptions and affliction on women in Cameroon’s far north region in recent times. This have greatly affected women from every facet. This paper examines the stakes and implications of terrorism on the welfare of women in Cameroon’s far north region. The study adopted a historical analytical style approach based on a rigorous anal- ysis of data collected. Data for the study was collected from both primary and secondary sources. Based on its findings, the paper sustains the argument that terrorism remain a major threat to women in Cameroon’s far north region. Reforms in counter-terrorism policies are important to improve efficiency and ensure a better living condition for women in the midst of terrorism.
