Summary/Abstract: Organizing and following the skills development in teaching a foreign language to students in technical universities means that those who teach a foreign language, English in our case, should master some psycho-pedagogical and linguistic particularities. Therefore, this paper deals with the importance of using integrated skills with the accent on listening and speaking and the practical experience in teaching a foreign language taking into account the processes of language with reference to active and passive language. All along the analysis, language will be seen not only as a unitary system, but also as a phenomenon of transfer and inference in teaching and learning English as a second or foreign language.
