Summary/Abstract: Human being trafficking is a burning social issue, especially considering the fact that sexual exploitation of women / children is currently the most economically profitable social criminal activity of any other activity in BiH, especially after the last war. Human being trafficking existed in the Balkans before, but the spread of this phenomenon occurred primarily as a result of the war and the disintegration of the SFRY, which was accompanied by great destruction, displacement and uncontrolled migration of the population in the presence of a large number of different domestic and foreign military formations. Wars and poverty have contributed to greater visibility and representation of this phenomenon in our society. Some authors, in the context of the links between war and the collapse of the state, on the one hand, and human trafficking, on the other, accept that these correlations have only recently begun to be discussed openly.
