Summary/Abstract: According to its structure, tourism is a very complex and heterogeneous circumstance of different entities that contribute to the formation of the tourist offer of any destination. The hotel is the most important and essential part of the tourist action, and at the same time, an action that is realized very often in time and space. On the impact of rapid and large changes in the international market, the hotelier marks a permanent growth and development both in terms of quantity and in terms of quality of hotel services. Today the hotel industry is accepted as the original industry. Accompanied by a number of natural, economic, political and social factors, the hotel industry is realized with developmental differences in the individual geographical areas of the international tourism market. Countries, circumstances and regions in the world are distinguished by the development of hospitality and hotel offer. However, hotel enterprises are one of the segments that have not yet been sufficiently developed, although there is material and potential value to their development. The Balkan Peninsula is one of the regions previously covered in the development of hotel tourism trends. As a geostrategic part of the Mediterranean, this region notes many important tourist transformations. Kosovo, located in the center of the Balkans, has a very important space and potential to be involved in the development of tourism in the region. However, its appearance in the tourism market is evident in the last two decades.
