Summary/Abstract: By using recuperating narrative strategies and Memory itself, G. Topârceanu’s Memories of War (Amintiri despre război) recollect Turtucoaia historical conflict. This piece of history is narratively revisited due to the recuperating Memory which turns the historical events into an (a) typical fabula rooted in the condition of the intellectual ‘thrown into History’.
