Summary/Abstract: The Palestine question, which had taken its root to the Balfour Declaration in 1917, was along standing political and historical issue between Arabs and Jews over who was to control the Palestine territory. From 1945 onwards, however, it gradually began to turn into a major international issue involving the Arab States, Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union,Turkey and others. During this period Palestine Issue became an important mutual factor in Anglo Turkish relations. In this general context, after providing a historical background for the evolution of the Palestine question up to 1945, the topic will be examined in three time spans in terms of its effect on Anglo-Turkish relations
