Summary/Abstract: The structure, the current role, and the individual elements of the Hungarian supplementary pension scheme are presented in this study. As a Member State, it is important to follow the running courses related to the pension scheme and the supplementary pension scheme in the European Union (EU) as well as the problems declared and the answers given in the EU, which are also outlined in this paper.
