Summary/Abstract: Our analysis is based on a corpus of documents related to the history of the Romanians, namely papers and private letters from the Bistriţa cities Archives, published by Nicolae Iorga and Alexandru Rosetti; our comments aim to set up a representative image of the language used during that period; that goal is to be accomplished by outlining the specific features of the language, by explicit or implicit comparisons with the previous stages of the language.
