Summary/Abstract: The article discusses caricature as a particularly important genre, and the caricaturist as an authority in the formation of public opinion. The research focuses on three main aspects: the first one concerns the role and significance of Boris Dimovski’s cartoons for a much better understanding of Kevork Kevorkian’s TV interviews in the „Hotline” section of the TV show „Every Sunday” in the period 2002-2005 The second aspect is related to the unusual questions that the presenter Kevorkian asks his interlocutors, which pose a great challenge both for the interlocutor and for Dimovski who creates his cartoons in the studio during the conversation. The third aspect is the creative synergy between words and images / cartoons, which builds a specific aura of the television conversation, while at the same time expanding the viewer’s ability to better understand the main messages send by the TV interview.
