Appropriate elements for establishing the logistical support line of the infantry division in operation

Summary/Abstract: One of the most important activities of the logistic support of the operations carried out by the infantry division is the establishment of the logistic support line. The entire activity of the large units and logistical support units/subunits will depend on how it is set up. The establishment of the logistic support line of the infantry division in operation represents the adequate disposition on the ground of its forces and logistical means and of the structures in the composition and subordination of the division to carry out specific activities to support the operation, in order to fulfill the entrusted combat missions. The logistic support line is a component part of the operative device of the infantry division and is realized by the grouped arrangement in the field of the big units, units, subunits and formations of execution of the logistic support, according to the commander's decision, in order to fulfill the entrusted missions.
