Summary/Abstract: The correlation of several documentary sources, corroborated by bibliographic references and material traces, made it possible to recover the history of the building in the current Mitropoliei Street (formerly Fleischergasse), No. 17, in Sibiu, and to identify its owner and commissioner of the frescoes inside, dated in 1628.
