Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to assess the readiness of Polish enterprises to accept remote work of their employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The unprecedented challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic required the implementation of agile behavior and the use of dynamic capabilities to adapt to new conditions, i.e. to adapt efficiently to changing environmental conditions by reconfiguring the resource portfolio. The article discusses the concept of agile behavior in the context of the introduction of remote working during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research has shown that in general Polish employers are prepared to work remotely, but private companies have done better than public ones and those with foreign capital than the ones with purely Polish capital.
