Summary/Abstract: Born in the troubled times of the beginning of the 20th century, the Romanian Military Aeronautics, established by law on April 1, 1913, participated with meritorious results in the regional conflict durring the Second Balkan War and was consecrated as the the fifth weapon of warfare in the crunching of the Air Force in the National Assembly war when, reborn and restored with the support of the French Aeronautical Mission, contributed to the rescue of the country in the summer of 1917 by the decisive contribution to the victories of the Romanian Army in Marasti, Marasesti and Oituz and participated, through exceptional air missions, to subsequent campaigns for the accomplishment and defense of Great Romania.
