Summary/Abstract: As a rule, women and children more frequently become victims of various criminal attacks, for the simple reason that they have a higher degree of victimhood. At the same time, criminologists found along time ago that the victim’s behavior can serve in some cases as an impetus, a provocative situation that generates the initiation of the criminal act. Regarding women and minors, a great influence belongs not only to their victim behavior, but also to the psychophysiological characteristics that determine a higher degree of victim vulnerability. In this sense, the elucidation of specific features regarding the personality and behavior of those categories of victims is of particular importance for solving priority problems related to the prevention of crimes that threaten their inviolability and sexual freedom.
