Summary/Abstract: Immediately after the end of the World War I, the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians will be formed, in which Bosnian-Herzegovian muslims will attempt to preserve the country's territorial integrity and protect their interests through a policy of inclination. This policy continued during World War II, when Muslims would seek to those who would protect their interests. In this work will be presented a clearer insight of the Muslims' attitude towards the events of the World War II, based on the oral testimonies of witnesses and participants of these events, with the archival material and literature. Also, in this work we will use the term Muslim, which was then used for a national group of peoples, and today refers to Bosniaks. The reason for writing such topic lies in the fact that the papers, published on the attitude of Muslims towards World War II, did not analyze in depth the area of Zenica with a predominantly Muslim population, nor did they analyze their attitude towards the circumstances of that time. In this paper, we will try to present the attitude of the Islamic Community and also the attitude of masses towards the various military formations to which Muslims of the Zenica region joined.
