Summary/Abstract: Ludomania is a complex mental dysfunction that interacts with other mental processes such as attention, memory, perception, and reasoning. Together, they orchestrate the addiction for gambling under the abnormal influence of hormones, monoamines, prefrontal lobes, cingulate gyrus, caudal nucleus, and cerebral tonsils. Repeated and morbid concern gambling (ludomania) leads to negative effects on professional, family and personal activities, similar to those of drug addiction. Treating this pathology can only be done with the help of specialized assistance. Preventing ludomania, is the key in the national gambling industry, meaning that the latest legislative provisions support this activity, both regulatory and financial. We believe that alongside the concrete actions that fall under the responsibility of gambling operators and the National Gaming Office, the most important aspect is to educate and naturally place gambling services. Concretely, gambling should be regarded as a fun activity, not as a possibility of enrichment overnight.
