THE ARTICLE OF XENISMS AND LOANS BY FRANCOPHONE SPEAKERS: THE CASE OF RADIOPHONIC TRANSMISSIONS ON THE ECONOMY IN ALGERIA

Summary/Abstract: This contribution responds to the problem of the phonetic integration/insertion of xenisms and borrowings. We took the case of English xenisms belonging to the economic field to report on their articulation by French speakers in radio programs broadcast by the radio Algiers-Chain 3. The observation that has been made is that there are three ways to pronounce these words that we can assimilate into stages of integration. Finally, we also noticed that even the borrowings recorded in dictionaries undergo different ways of articulation, despite the codified pronunciation.
