Summary/Abstract: Domestic violence, a problem that the societies faced during all times, presents at present a significant increase of such cases. Urgent measures are imposed at the level of each state, on behalf of governments, and also a constant and intensive effort is imposed on behalf of the bodies involved in fighting family violence. The United Nations Organisation holds an extremely important part, at the same time emphasizing the gravity of this type of crime, following the increase in the incidence of cases of family violence within the first quarter of the year 2020, by referring to the same period of the previous year.
