Summary/Abstract: The author focuses on the development of academic skills in pre-school pupils by coaching approach. Coaching is an effective tool for preschool pupils to help them think of various tasks from different points of view, to be able to handle various situations. The focus is on asking specific questions to promote: a) self-discovery and self-reflection in pupils as well as b) active listening behind the content and context, to approach thinking, emotions and values, to develop holistic listening in teachers.
