Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to examine issues related to the management of conflicts inthe in the organization under the education sector. It focuses on alerting readers on thevitality of communication in managing conflicts. Furthermore, the most insertion of this paperis on the exploration of the nature of conflict in schools, its causes and techniques andredress. In today’s rapidly changing world, where different people with different cultureswork together, workplace conflict is likely to occur. A lot of managers do not have thetechnical competence processes in place to cab it. It is essential and unavoidable becausewhere there is human interaction, there is likelihood of personal likes and dislikes. Theseagreements and disagreements usually lead to conflicts which are either positive ornegative. Schools like other organizations are prone to one or other type of conflict andvarious conflict management strategies are adopted for handling conflict; the most amongthese being, intervention, negotiation, avoidance and collaboration
