Summary/Abstract: AS OLD AS CRIME, GENERALLY SPEAKING, JUVENILE DELINQUENCY BECAME A WORRYING SOCIAL PHENOMENON AFTER THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION AND THE MINORS’ “EMANCIPATION”, IMPLICITLY. IN THE ANCIENT TIMES, BEING GENERALLY UNDER THE STRICT AUTHORITY OF THE DOMINATING PARENTS, OF THE ADULT SOCIETY, IN GENERAL, MINORS HAD LESS FREEDOM OF ACTION, MANY OF THEM BEING DOMINATED BY FEAR, SO THAT ONLY A FEW OF THEM DEVIATED FROM THE PRESCRIBED CONDUCT AND COMMITTED CRIMES. AMONG THE CRIMES THAT HAVE LATELY INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY, RAISING JUVENILE DELINQUENCY TO HIGHER AND HIGHER LEVELS, DRUG TRAFFICKING AND CONSUMPTION CAN BE NOTED, AS WELL AS COMPUTER CRIME.
