Summary/Abstract: This article approaches the methodology for drawing up an estimate for restoration works of artistic components in historical monuments. The restoration is often financed together with the investment and is offered in the subcontracting of a construction company, therefore the way of drawing up the estimate must comply with the tendering rules in the field of constructions. In the absence of estimate norms Indicators for restoration, it is necessary to draw up local norms, specific to each restorer, yet common to the same type of operation. Local rules must comply with the rules for drawing up estimates. Thus, each type of direct expenditure must be highlighted and justified: with materials, labour, equipment and transport cost by establishing unit consumption for each type of expenditure. Other related expenses that are required are included in the column of indirect expenses: remuneration of management and administrative staff, depreciation, expenses for small equipment. Expenditure on working site organization and design is not covered in this article.
