Summary/Abstract: : In this framework, we have two objectives. First, we analyze the income inequality in Tunisia and we present the various mechanisms of redistributions introduced in the aim of easing the disparities of income. Secondly, we study, empirically, the link between the income inequality, the redistribution and the economic growth using an overlapping generation model. To make this, first we study this relation in a context where there is a only set of redistribution: public spending. At second time, we introduce an enrichment to the model by introducing private altruism. Our objective is to emphasize the rule of this last one in the enfeeblement of the disparity of income and the promotion of the economic growth.
