Summary/Abstract: It is commonly known that that Mircea Eliade was included in an index list during the communist period; more specifically, his entire work was banned. It is generally known that in a consumer society, anything that is forbidden grows more attractive and fuller of enigmas, a mystery that needs to be solved sooner or later. Anything forbidden becomes a challenge to overcome obstacles, to step beyond the dense curtain of indifference, to unravel, as far as possible, these riddles, and to bring to light the long-awaited truth. We can assert that these pro-legionary articles, of nationalist inspiration, one finds a certain enthusiasm and interest for the Legionary Movement. However, the pages, the articles, the books must be read in full-length, in order to comprehend the way in which Mircea Eliade understood the Romanian social and political phenomenon of the 1930s.
