Summary/Abstract: A poet, prose writer and journalist from Banat, the daughter of a well-known folklorist, teacher and cultural animator from Lugoj, Anișoara Odeanu is a promoter of the experiential generation, during the spiritual effervescence of the interwar period. The writer joyfully played with pathos the roles of multiple complex characters on the Bucharest literary scene. In her inner complexity as a poet, Anişoara Odeanu belongs to a generation and a time whose echoes reverberate in her poems. Her creative spirit is in full harmony with her philosophy of life: an open challenge, a ridge of prejudices, a release from all kinds of constraints. Her writing reflects the fragility and restlessness, the spectacular side of everyday life, the experiment and the intense and authentic living, beyond any norms and limits imposed by the society of the time.
